Royal Caribbean taking the "Floating City" thing to new extremes.

I just read a news article on Cruise Critic that featured an interesting picture from the drydock where Royal Caribbean's first "Genesis" ship is being built. The picture shows that there appear to be two "tower" sections of cabins being constructed on the top midship area that seem to have outside cabins on four sides.

The article goes on to speculate about what this may be a sign of. It could be confirmation of a boardwalk or "central park" type area that would be situated between these "towers". The article also wonders just how high the "towers" will be when finished, if the walkway at the top of the towers will remain, and whether or not the open space will be covered by a retractable roof.

We'll just have to wait. Not long hopefully, since info is supposed to start being revealed in a couple of weeks.

Here is a link to the full article.
