Royal Caribbean has announced that their new revolutionary ship, Oasis of the Seas, will be completed ahead of schedule. As a result, they have extended the inaugural season by adding two trips ahead of the previous maiden voyage which was scheduled for December 12 2009. If you are booked on that cruise, Royal Caribbean will let you have the first crack at re-scheduling for the new maiden voyage on December 5 2009.
There will also be a pre-inaugural sailing on December 1 2009 which will be a short 4 day cruise to Royal Caribbean's private destination Labadee along with a couple of sea days. There will be some additional discounts and perks for those passengers who want to sail on the 12/01 and 12/05 sailings back to back.
