On April 16, 2010, Celebrity Cruises took possession of the now completed Celebrity Eclipse in a ceremony at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Hamburg, Germany. She is the third in the five ship Solstice Class and the tenth ship in the Celebrity fleet. The naming ceremony will take place on April 24th and she will officially enter service on April 26th.
