Costa Concordia Runs Aground Off Italian Coast

Tragedy has struck the Costa Concordia which has run aground off the coast of the Italian island of Giglio.  CNN is reporting that there are at least 3 people killed and 43 to 51 are still missing.

The ship which was carrying over 3200 passengers and 1000 crew apparently ran aground around dinner time and started taking on water.  The ship has since keeled over onto it's side.

The story is still developing and we'll be keeping an eye on it and hope that there are no further reports of any lives lost.

Keep on the story at CNN and Cruise Critic.
