Royal Caribbean Planning More Updates To Older Ships

In an attempt to roll out more of the innovations featured on the cruise line's Oasis Class, Royal Caribbean has announced that they will be making extensive renovations to Radiance of the Seas and Splendour of the Seas.  This is in addition to the already announced improvements to Liberty of the Seas and Freedom of the Seas.

According to reports, Radiance will enter drydock in mid 2011 and she will receive new specialty restaurants including Samba Grill and Rita's Cantina (both to debut on Allure of the Seas), as well as Giovanni's Table and Park Cafe.  A new Diamond Lounge, Royal Babies and Tot's Nursery, ship wide Wi-Fi, and flat panel interactive TVs in all staterooms round out the upgrades.

Splendour will also receive two new specialty restaurants along with Park Cafe, Royal Babies and Tots Nursery,  a Diamond and Concierge Lounge, flat screen TVs, and ship wide Wi-Fi.  On top of that she will undergo major surgery to add new balcony staterooms, upgrades to other staterooms and public areas, and a newly re-done Windjammer Marketplace.
